Friday Wine Tasting 1.27.17

Join us for some fantastic wines today from 3-7 pm! Here’s what we’ll be pouring:

KUMEU RIVER CHARDONNAY
This Australian Chardonnay is split 75/25% stainless steel and French oak. This allows the wine to maintain a purity of fruit character while still having body and complexity. A lemon-lime nose guide you into a palate of fig and white peach with a flinty minerality. Refreshing and cleansins, enjoy with with light bites or seafood.

MARTIN RAY SONOMA PINOT NOIR
This wine is an excellent reprentation of a classic Sonoma Pinot Noir. The nose is rich and intense with notes of blackcherry, elderberry and dried rose petals. The palate is lush and juicy with flavors of cherry cola and dark earth undertones. French oak aging adds underlying hints of vanilla and toffee. Delicious and quaffable!

MARTIN RAY RESERVE NAPA CABERNET SAUVIGNON
This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is aged 16 months in French oak barrels. Strong and structured, this wine offers a bouquet of cherry, cassis, violets and exotic spices. The palate is medium bodied with well-structured tannins and a graceful, lingering finish.

NORTON PRIVADA
This 91 point wine (Wine Advocate) is a blend of 40% Malbec and 30% each Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Intense and complex, bright red fruits mingle with notes of smoke and coffee. Fine, velvety texture and a cleansing acidity make this wine a fine companion to roasted meats and strong cheeses.
